The Trefoil Guild is an integral part of Girl Guiding. Trefoil Guild in Nigeria elects her own Country Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer Financial Secretary, Public Relations Officer. Trefoil Guild Nigeria shall operate at National, Zone, State, Division and District levels.
Trefoil Guild Roles and Responsibilities
- Trefoil Guild members shall raise funds to help subsidise Girl Guides membership, camp fees, travel, uniforms and other activities.
- Each Trefoil Guild at the State level will have a Trefoil Guild State Coordinator, Divisional and district coordinators where necessary.
- Trefoil Guild Companies shall decide their own programs of activity and frequency of meetings.
- Each State Trefoil Guild shall meet often as is convenient for its members.
- Meetings are held monthly at divisions while general state meetings shall hold quarterly.
- Trefoil Guild Unit cannot operate in silos from the Girl Guides Association in the State, hence the State Commissioner is an automatic member of the Trefoil Guild in that State.
- Trefoil Guild Unit can actively recruit more members into the Trefoil Guild branch of the Association.
- Trefoil Guild members are matrons to Girl Guides in their States.
- Every State Trefoil Guild Company shall have a Patron Who is either the Deputy Governor, the Governor’s wife, or a woman of good standing in the State

The Board of Trustees for Trefoil Guild Nigeria shall consist of the following:
- Board of Trustees for the Nigerian Girl Guides Association

- Other Trefoil Guild National Officers
