The Trefoil Guild Nigeria operates as an adult support arm of the Nigerian Girl Guides Association (NGGA), upholding the principles of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). Our motto, mission and vision statements are:
Mission: To enable girls and young women to develop their fullest potentials as responsible citizens of the world.
Vision: An equal world where all girls can thrive. By 2032, we will be a girl-led Movement where every and any girl feels confident to lead and empowered to create a better world together.

To achieve its mission and vision, the Trefoil Guild Nigeria may engage in:
- Mentorship & Leadership Programs – Supporting young Girl Guides through skill-building and moral guidance.
- Community Development Projects – Participating in health, education, and environmental initiatives.
- Advocacy & Awareness Campaigns – Promoting gender equality, child protection, and youth empowerment.
- Fundraising & Resource Mobilization – Assisting NGGA in sustaining its programs.
- Intergenerational Bonding – Connecting older and younger generations within the guiding movement.
