HISTORY MADE IN RIVERS STATE CHAPTER OF TREFOIL GUILD NIGERIA

8th August 2026 will remain a memorable day in the history of the Trefoil Guild in Rivers State, as a new Division—GRA Division—was officially born.

The occasion also witnessed the election of a new Executive Committee for the Down-Town Division, following the successful completion of its three-year tenure.

The gathering was graced by the presence of the National Adviser, Dame Dr. Christie Toby, and the National Project Coordinator, Asime Dandison-Brown.

TREFOIL GUILD NIGERIA STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP FOR WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT

Trefoil Guild Nigeria has taken another important step towards improving the lives and livelihoods of women across Nigeria by signing a Memorandum of Understanding for strategic partnership following its participation in the Trade Over Aid Initiative held in Abuja on August 17, 2026.

The two-day initiative brought together key stakeholders from government, the private sector, development organisations, academia and civil society to promote trade, investment and sustainable development.

‎As the world marked Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, the voices of Trefoil Guild Nigeria resonated across various states of the federation as members of this arm of the Nigeria Girl Guides Association rolled out impactful activities aimed at raising awareness on menstrual hygiene and promoting healthy practices among girls and women.

On 1st August 2026, a Child Rights Awareness Event was held at Government Secondary School (GSS) Kanadap, Kuru, Plateau State. The event, themed "Promoting Child Rights and Child Protection in Kuru Community," brought together stakeholders committed to promoting the welfare, protection, and development of children.

Trefoil Guild Nigeria has expressed  its commitment to advancing women's empowerment, leadership, and national development through its active participation at the 2026 Mission 21 Women's Conference, themed "Women's Empowerment and Nation Building."

‎The Country Chair of Trefoil Guild Nigeria, Grace Frank Ojobo, represented by the National Secretary, Anna Paul-Gindiri,anipr stated that, the conference provided a strategic platform for participants to examine women's rights, inclusive leadership, digital literacy, social enterprise, and sustainable development.

TREFOIL GUILD NIGERIA JOINS WOMEN IN PLATEAU STATE TO APPEAL TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO INTERVENE IN BRINGING HOME KIDNAPPED CHILDREN IN OYO ‎

Grace Frank Ojobo, Country Chair of Trefoil Guild Nigeria, has joined women in Plateau State in a passionate appeal to the Federal Government to intensify efforts toward securing the immediate release and safe return of the schoolchildren and teachers abducted in Oyo State.

REPORT ON STEPDOWN LEADERSHIP TRAINING – 25th April 2026 HELD AT THE NGGA OFFICE PLATEAU STATE

Following the National Leadership Retreat in Abuja (25-28 Feb 2026), Organized by the Country Chair Amb. Grace Frank Ojobo for all the National EXCO, Zonal and State Coordinators, A communique' raised at the end of the training directed that; all State Coordinators to step down the training.

Inline with this, Plateau State Coordinator Pst. Esther L. Kareem and EXCO held a one-day stepdown training in compliance.
