The Bayelsa State Branch of the Trefoil Guild Nigeria commemorated the International Women’s Day with an impactful outreach to students of Saint Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Amarata, Yenagoa. The event, which drew participation from both teachers and students, focused on empowering young girls through mentorship, education, and personal development.

The event was part of the global celebrations marking women's achievements and calling for action to address challenges faced by women, such as gender-based violence and inequality. Also The Trefoil Guild Nigeria Plateau State chapter, in collaboration with Women for Women International, celebrated International Women's Day on March 12 and 13, 2026, in Bukuru and Kabong communities. The event focused on training and empowering girls, aligning with the organization's mission to support youth development and women's empowerment ¹ ² ³.

In her remarkable act of compassion and service, the Country Chair of Trefoil Guild Nigeria, Mrs. Grace Frank Ojobo chose to celebrate her birthday on the 13th of this month with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Bokos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The outreach brought together over 500 women and girls from the IDP community for a day of learning, support, and encouragement.
